A glimpse of Mosdos ‘עמלים בתורה’

עמלים בתורה was established in 2011 by Reb Moshe Bukshpan shlita. He found a working solution for bochurim who were no longer part of the regular yeshiva system yet wanted a learning environment in a chassidishe spirit.

Since then, two great Torah institutions have been in operation –

In the Sanhedria neighborhood, , a Kollel for bochurim is in action from morning till night. The participants are bochurim who have completed learning in a yeshiva, and want to continue learning in a chassidishe spiritual environment. 

The talmidim of the Kollel, led by the Rosh HaKollel HaGaon R’ Tuvia Bukshpan shlita, are immersed in the project ‘עמלים בש"ס’. Every year, all members of the Kollel complete the entire Shas together.

Aside for that, there is a select group who learn halacha Yoreh Deah, hilchos shabbos, kashrus etc.

Kollel members participate in rich knowledgeable courses, exciting activities, trips to kivrei tzadikim, and Shabbatons.


The Kollel is a special place for those that love Torah. The bochurim find here a warm home and a strong support system for their unique backgrounds. Here they feel equal and good with themselves, learn Torah with joy, and give nachas to the רבש"ע

ישיבת נועם אלימלך

In a pastoral area in Har Nof, away from the bustling city, a sheltered institution was established for struggling bochurim who want to remain in a yeshiva environment, connected to a chassidishe atmosphere, Torah, and שמחת החיים. 

Led by the Rosh Yeshiva, HaRav Bukshpan shlita, the skilled staff succeeds in lifting the students to a better place. Here, every student feels connected and accepted as they are. All the bochurim have goals to improve, and they receive the tools to reach their aspirations and to grow.

These bochurim, who prefer a life of Torah over a purposeless existence, receive all they need to excel: Life skill courses, learning a trade, music lessons, physical exercise, and more.

The bochurim are filled with שמחת חיים, and the positive influence of the yeshiva is clearly evident on them. Here they feel at home. A home of Torah.

Kollel עמלים בתורה and Yeshivas נועם אלימלך work on behalf of yiddishe bochurim, something all of us should feel responsible for. They need your support in order for us to continue in this special mission.
