1. Go Boating on a Lake
The Catskills is home to many stunning lakes that you can experience first-hand. Rent a pontoon boat, speed boat, or jet ski. Be sure to call and book in advance to ensure availability.

2. Take A Hike
When in the mountains you gotta take full advantage and go for an incredible hike. There are many to choose from depending on trail difficulty and ages. Be sure to bring your best hiking sneakers, snack bars, and some water.
A strenuous yet exhilarating hike with lots of ups and downs that ends in amazing waterfalls. Bring some snacks to enjoy at the waterfall, but make sure you take your trash with you. Be sure to download the map to reference as cell service is not available on the trail.
There is so much to explore in the magnificent 5,000 acres of Minnewaska State Park, from ice caves to Lake Maratanza, to the Verkeerder Kill Falls waterfalls. Parking availability is limited in this area, be sure to reserve a spot before you go (up to 2 weeks in advance!) here.

4. Go On Down To The Farm
Feed the animals, ride a horse, or pick your own fruit and veggies this summer!
A fun, classic trip in upstate NY is the beautiful Kelder's Farm. Pick blueberries, flowers, veggies, herbs and more. Pet and feed the animals, jump on the giant trampoline cushion, shoot potatoes from the spud gun and lots more. They even carry Cholov Yisroel ice cream!
